What's included
- Local and cloud backup of servers and workstations
- Microsoft 365 backup
- Regular recovery testing, not just backup jobs
- Documented disaster recovery and business continuity plan
- Ransomware-resistant, immutable backup copies
- Defined recovery time and recovery point objectives
How it works
- Assess: we review what you currently back up and how often.
- Onboard: backup jobs are configured for servers, workstations, and Microsoft 365.
- Stabilize: we run a real recovery test within the first 60 days.
- Optimize: recovery time objectives are tightened as the environment matures.
- Plan: your disaster recovery plan is reviewed annually and before every hurricane season.
Who it's for
Any business that cannot afford extended downtime, especially healthcare practices, dealerships, and firms with compliance obligations.

Hurricane season is the test
Every business in Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties plans for storms. Most plan for the building and forget the data. We've helped a client reconnect their server the day after a hurricane flooded their office, while they were running on generators, because the backup was off-site and the recovery plan was written down. Read that story.
Before every storm, we check in with every managed client, verify off-site copies are current, and confirm who to call and in what order. After the storm, we're on the phone the moment it's safe.
Backup that would actually survive ransomware
Ransomware groups look for backups first. If your backup is a drive plugged into the server or a sync folder, it gets encrypted with everything else. Our backups are:
- Immutable. Copies can't be changed or deleted for the retention period, even by an administrator.
- Off-site. A local copy for fast restores, a cloud copy for the day the building isn't usable.
- Versioned. You can go back to Tuesday, or to last month.
- Tested. We restore real systems on a schedule and record the result. A backup that's never been restored is a hope.
What we protect
- Servers (on-premise and cloud) with image-based backup and bare-metal or virtual recovery
- Workstation data
- Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace mail, files, and Teams
- Practice management, EHR, DMS, and line-of-business databases, with the vendor's recommended method
- Network device configurations, so a replacement firewall is back in minutes
The written plan
Every client gets a disaster recovery plan that fits on a few pages: what systems matter in what order, where the backups are, who calls whom, how long each step should take, and how to reach us. It lives in the client portal and in a printed copy at your office, because the plan isn't useful if it's on the server that's down.
What it costs
Backup monitoring and recovery testing are part of the managed plan. Backup appliances and cloud storage are priced by data volume and recovery time objective, quoted after the assessment.
