IT for manufacturers and distributors

Keep orders shipping and lines running. We manage the office, the warehouse, and the systems between them across Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties.

When IT stops, shipping stops

For a manufacturer or distributor, downtime isn't an inconvenience. If the ERP is down, orders don't release. If the warehouse Wi-Fi drops, scanners stop and trucks wait. If ransomware hits, it often reaches the machines on the floor. Manufacturing has been one of the most targeted industries for ransomware for years, because attackers know every hour of downtime costs money.

We manage the office, the warehouse, and the connections between them with security built in and one flat monthly price per user.

What we manage for manufacturers and distributors

  • Office and warehouse networks, firewalls, and Wi-Fi designed around racking, docks, and scanners
  • Separation of shop-floor equipment and older machine PCs from the office network
  • Servers and cloud accounts behind your ERP, inventory, and shipping systems
  • Label printers, barcode scanners, and rugged handhelds
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, with access that matches roles and shifts
  • Tested, immutable backups of ERP data and file shares, with a written recovery time you can plan around
  • Endpoint detection and response, email security, enforced MFA, and staff training
  • 3CX cloud phones with call routing for sales, customer service, and the warehouse
  • Coordination with your ERP reseller, EDI provider, internet carriers, and equipment vendors

Protecting the floor from the front office

Most ransomware starts with an email or a stolen password in the office, then spreads to anything it can reach on the same network. Equipment controllers and the PCs that run older machines often can't be updated without voiding a warranty or breaking the software. The fix is separation: put production equipment on its own network segment, allow only the connections it actually needs, and monitor the boundary. It's one of the highest-value projects a manufacturer can do, and we recommend it for every manufacturer we work with.

Built for shifts and storms

Second and third shifts need help too. Our monitoring runs 24/7, and critical outages are escalated right away. Every managed client gets off-site backups, a written recovery plan, and a pre-storm check-in during hurricane season.

Getting started

A free IT and compliance assessment is a 60-minute on-site visit, including a walk of the floor and warehouse, and produces a written report of gaps and priorities. No cost, no obligation.

Questions we hear

Frequently asked questions

Don’t see your question? Call us and a real person will answer.

Do you support ERP and inventory systems?

Yes. We support the servers, cloud accounts, workstations, and networks that systems like Epicor, SAP Business One, NetSuite, Acumatica, Sage, and QuickBooks Enterprise depend on, and we work with your ERP vendor or reseller when there's an application issue.

Can you fix Wi-Fi dead spots in our warehouse?

Yes. Warehouses are hard on Wi-Fi: metal racking, high ceilings, and scanners that drop connections. We survey the space, design access point placement for your aisles and docks, and manage it afterward.

Should our production equipment be on the same network as the office?

Usually not. Machines, controllers, and older PCs that run equipment often can't be patched. We separate them from office computers so a phishing email in the front office can't reach the shop floor.

We supply the Department of Defense. Can you help with CMMC?

If you handle Controlled Unclassified Information for defense contracts, CMMC requirements likely apply. We'll tell you honestly during the assessment what that involves and whether we're the right fit or you need a specialized compliance partner.

What size company do you work with?

Typically 8 to 150 employees who use company computers, scanners, or email, including multi-shift operations.
