What's included
- Microsoft Copilot readiness review
- Workflow automation assessment
- Data governance and permissions review before any AI rollout
- Staff training on approved AI tools
- Ongoing advisory as new tools become relevant
How it works
- Assess: we review your current workflows and data handling practices.
- Onboard: one or two high-value automation or Copilot use cases are identified.
- Stabilize: the chosen tools are configured with proper data access controls.
- Optimize: staff are trained and usage is reviewed after 30 days.
- Plan: we revisit opportunities quarterly as tools evolve.
Who it's for
Businesses curious about AI but wary of data exposure or wasted subscriptions. Not for businesses looking for a general AI strategy deck with no implementation.
Plans
Advisory engagements are quoted per project. Ongoing advisory can be bundled into managed IT plans.
Where AI is actually paying off for small businesses here
We're not interested in AI strategy decks. We're interested in the two or three places a tool saves a real hour. In the Southwest Florida businesses we support, those are showing up consistently:
- Writing. Proposals, client emails, policy drafts, and meeting summaries with Microsoft Copilot or an approved assistant. The time savings are real for the people who write all day, and close to zero for the people who don't.
- Clinical documentation. AI scribes that listen to a visit and draft the note into the EHR. Practices are cutting charting time significantly, with the physician reviewing every note.
- Service and front-desk workflows. Summarizing long email threads, drafting responses to common questions, and turning voicemails into text.
- Spreadsheet and report work. Cleaning data, building first-draft formulas, and explaining what a report says.
Where we tell clients to wait
Anything that makes a decision without a person reviewing it. Anything that touches patient or client data through a consumer tool. Any "AI agent" product that wants broad access to your systems with no audit trail. The cost of getting those wrong is higher than the hour they save.
The data governance step nobody skips with us
Before any AI tool touches your business, we review who can see what. Copilot and similar tools respect existing permissions, which means they surface every file a user already has access to, including the ones nobody realized were shared with "Everyone." We clean that up first. Then we set up business accounts with data retention disabled and a written policy that says what can and can't go into a tool.
What an engagement looks like
- A two-hour working session to map where time goes in your business.
- A short list of candidate use cases with an honest estimate of time saved.
- Permissions and data-governance cleanup.
- A pilot with the people who'll benefit most, measured after 30 days.
- Rollout, training, and a policy your staff can actually follow.
Most single-use-case rollouts take two to four weeks. Ongoing advisory folds into your quarterly vCIO review.
